Golf Galore in February

Greg Lynch the professional at Warley Woods Golf Course is really gearing up for the Spring weather encouraging everyone to dust off their golf clubs and brush up on their skills or learn some new skills.

In Half Term (Tuesday 22nd – Friday 25th) there will be fun golf sessions for young people involving Tri Golf and X-Treme Golf.  Sessions run from 10am – 12pm.  £10 per child.  Places are limited so booking is strongly recommended.

On Sunday 27th February Greg will be running “Learn Golf in a Day”.  A chance for someone completely new to golf, to learn some of the basics to get them started.  The day runs from 10am – 1.45 and just costs £20 per player.  Equipment can be loaned if the aspiring golfer doesn’t have any kit yet.

If you prefer to take learning more slowly there is a 6 week taster course starting on Saturday 26th February at 3.30-4.30 pm each week.

Warley Woods prides itself on being a friendly place to learn – everyone is welcome – young, old, male, female, novice or experienced.  As a registered charity our aim is to ensure that everyone has a chance to learn golf – it may be a once in a lifetime thing or maybe a hobby that will last a life time.  If you are itching to get out into the fresh air, be active and try something new, give the shop a call on 0121 429 2440 or email
