Spookiness at Halloween – 28th October

You are invited to come and hear the ghostly stories connected with Warley Woods on a walk that takes you to where ghosts have been seen and where murders took place. Stories include the famous Grey Lady of Warley Woods, the story of Bravo the Dog who lived at the Abbey and the murder of Sam Whitehouse.

David Yates, local historian, or on this occasion, David the Wizard will be leading the walk and telling the stories on the evening of Friday 28th October. The walk starts at 6pm with a charge of £3 for adults and £1 for children which includes a drink after the walk back at the Pavilion. Everyone is encouraged to come in spooky-dress and there will be prizes for both children and adults for the best outfits.

Please bring torches as the Woods are deadly dark at night!
