Events in November
We have three events on this month. One outside of the woods to raise money for it (while having fun) and two others at the woods.
The annual quiz will be on Friday 15th November at St Hilda’s Church Hall on Abbey Road at 7.30. We can find you a team to join if you are a singleton or a couple. Teams can be up to 6 people and it is £3 per person. Hot drinks provided, but bring your own alcohol and soft drinks.
Then on Sunday we have our second Stargazing event of the year, in The Pavilion, Lightwoods Hill between 7pm and 9pm. This is run by Birmingham Astronomical Society. They have several telescopes and lots of information on astronomy and if the night is cloudy, they will do presentations. Always a fascinating event. Feel free to drop in during the session. £3 per adult, children free.
Then coming up Saturday 30th November 11am – 1pm, there will be the chance to have a go at origami when Mick Guy will be running a workshop to show how to make a fabulous Christmas tree from paper. In the Padgham Room, at the Pavilion, Lightwoods HIll. All materials are provided. Anyone over 7 welcome: with costs of £3 for adults and £2 for children with all funds going to the Trust (charity number 1092454)
