Warley Woods - July

PICNIC IN THE PARK - SUNDAY JULY 13TH

1 pm to 6 pm, now only just over 2 weeks away. This year there will, as usual, be local musicians playing, a range of stalls, (some new this year), the Dog Show, Children's Activities, Golf Training, Football Training, Children's Treasure Hunt, Balloon Race, Face Painting, Badge Making, and for the first time Jenny, who runs the cafe at the Pavilion, will be selling cold food and drinks at the picnic. So tell your friends, family and neighbours - and let's hope that this year the sun shines.

On Friday August 1st we will be having a Bat Walk in the woods. This will start at 8 pm from the Pavilion. Cost will be £3 which will cover the use of a bat detector and tea/coffee afterwards. Booking is essential so please contact Kathy or Viv at the office (420 1061).

Every Saturday morning a Runners Group meets for a run around the park. They meet at 9.30 am and wecome new runners. For more information please contact Nigel Lloyd on info@reason2run.co.uk

An early notification of the AGM which this year will be held on Thursday evening October 2nd at the Pavilion. More details will be given nearer the time.
