Warley Woods Community Trust works with many partners across the community to deliver their charitable objectives.

Sandwell Metropolitan Bough Council (SMBC)

SMBC works closely with Warley Woods Community Trust (WWCT) on the on-going restoration project. Together with SMBC and HLF, WWCT is developing the restoration project that will see a significant improvement in the infrastructure at Warley Woods including new paths, fencing and woodland management.

Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF)

HLF is funding the restoration project at Warley Woods. WWCT is working closely with HLF and SMBC to deliver the restoration project for the benefit of the community. To learn more about HLF visit their website: www.hlf.org.uk/English/

Big Lottery Fund (BLF)

BLF is funding a separate restoration initiative in the winter garden area of Warley Woods. With the help of BLF, Warley Woods will improve the winter garden area and will add an innovative children’s play area that will enhance visitor experience.

British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV)

For many years BTCV has worked closely with WWCT to maintain the Warley Woods for the benefit of the community. A team of committed and enthusiastic volunteers, BTCV trims over-grown vegetation and completes other tasks required by WWCT.

Oscott Horticulture Services

Oscott Horticulture Services Limited is a local social enterprise that provides employment and volunteer services for community maintenance and landscape projects. With funding from the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation (www.esmeefairbairn.org.uk ), Oscott Horticulture Services works with WWCT to maintain Warley Woods for the benefit of the local community. Oscott Horticulture Services creates opportunities for people, some with disabilities, to gain valuable work experience. Through this partnership, workers can contribute to their community while becoming economically independent and increasing their skill sets.

‘Unpaid work for the Community’ under the Payback Scheme

This group is working in partnership with WWCT to maintain the park. This group works diligently to improve Warley Woods for the benefit of the community.
