Warley Woods, managed by Warley Woods Community Trust, is among a record-breaking number (1,970) of parks and green spaces that will today receive a prestigious Green Flag Award.  This international award, now into its third decade, is a sign to the public that the space boasts the highest possible environmental standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent visitor facilities.

We are absolutely delighted to receive a Green Flag Award for the eleventh year running from Keep Britain Tidy. This Award recognises and highlights that local people are benefiting from a green space of the very highest quality.  The Community Trust has been managing the site for 15 years now and its staff and volunteers are very proud of its track record of high standards.

International Green Flag Award scheme manager Paul Todd said: “Each flag honours the thousands of staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to maintain the high standards demanded by the Green Flag Award. We congratulate each and every winner on their fantastic achievement"

If you love your Green Flag Award Winning Park, then why not make a donation to help keep it looking good.  It costs the charity over £8,000 a year just to empty the bins.  If you use them, please play your part and help.
