Walking in the Woods

A walk through Warley Woods should always be a pleasant experience. But this doesn't happen by magic - keeping the Woods litter and waste free takes hours of work, constant vigilance and £9,000 a year for waste disposal.

What happens next

Whether the waste is picked up by a Warley Woods Womble with a stick, or taken away by a Sandwell or Serco Poo Bin Elf in a van, it all takes time and money which we hope most visitors don't need to think about on their tranquil walk in our green and pleasant land.

Please play your part

But while we have your attention on your screen, then could we encourage you, just to think about it for a moment and to support the Trust in its endeavours to keep Warley Woods always looking as you would hope to find it.
