Warley Woods Golf Course Everything for our Golfers The Course The Golf Course is situated in a beautifully designed landscape, making it an inspiring place to play. At 2646 yards and par 34, it is one of the shorter 9-hole courses in the area. However, its hills, sloping greens and tight fairways more than make up for its lack of length. It is playable by the novice but also provides a challenge for more experienced golfers. It is a pay and play course and you do not need to be a member of the golf club to play here. The bunter pebble and sand beneath the course mean that it is exceptionally well-drained and it is therefore open in the wettest weather, when other courses are shut. A major feature of the layout is undoubtedly the positioning of the sand traps while the lateral slopes of some of the fairways require careful planning from the tee. Above all it is a course to be enjoyed. Warley Woods Golf Course is managed by Warley Woods Community Trust (charity number 1092454). All income from the golf course goes back into paying for the maintenance and management of the 100 acres of Warley Woods.
